Warm Ricotta and Basil Dressing
Use this dressing over barbecued steak, chicken, fish, or vegetables.
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 1 cup
- 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
- 4 tablespoons mascarpone
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts, crushed
Put all ingredients in a small saucepan, and stir until combined.
Heat gently over medium-low heat until warmed through, then pour immediately over steak, chicken, fish, or vegetables, and serve.
