The Catholic Church teaches that we seek salvation in community and solidarity and that we work in communion with our brothers and sisters to reach perfect communion with the Lord. To reach an understanding with God, we must also be at peace with our coworkers, family, neighbors, and people all over the world — people of all ethnic groups and all cultures. This is not an easy task, but it is part and parcel of Catholic faith and belief, the basic dogma of a “one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.”
