Check your local telephone directory, do Web searches, and ask colleagues for recommendations if you're searching for a career professional. Also, the career counseling departments of many colleges and universities offer online information and tests. Lots of relocation businesses and services have long or short quizzes on their Web sites that will help you find a place in the country — or the world — that suits you.
Remember that many popular career instruments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory (SII), and Campbell Skills and Interests Inventory (CSII) can only be administered by people who have completed a qualifying program and can help you interpret your results.
