Parmesan Sprouts with Prosciutto (Freezing)

Once this dish is done, you can freeze it whole in an oven-ready dish or portion it out into individual servings. It will need to be cooked for 20 minutes at 350°F. Serve with additional freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

1. Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

2. Add garlic and prosciutto. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring regularly.

3. Add sprouts. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Sprinkle flour evenly over the sprouts. Stir. Slowly add cream, followed by the port wine. Simmer about 13 minutes until the sprouts are nearly fork-tender.

4. Remove from heat, add half of the cheese, and stir well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Store in freezer-safe containers. Label and date.
