Cheesy Sausage Casserole (Freezing)

This is a great casserole to have in the freezer for unexpected visitors. It’s very tasty and filling. When you want to cook it, cover it with aluminum foil and put it in the oven at 400°F for about 60 minutes. Remove foil in the last five minutes to brown the cheese.

1. Mix marinara, sausage, onion, garlic, and spices.

2. Cook the pasta for ¾ the recommended time (it must be al dente for freezing).

3. Stuff the manicotti with the meat filling.

4. Blend white sauce with grated cheese. Pour

of this in the bottom of your ovenproof freezer dish.

5. Put the manicotti on top and pour the rest of the cheese sauce over it. Sprinkle with Parmesan to personal tastes.

6. Cover with aluminum foil, then wrap in plastic wrap. Label, date, and freeze.
