Mexican Seasoning

As the name implies, this is a foundational spice blend for Spanish and Mexican dishes. It will also give soups and stews a hint of hot.

INGREDIENTS | MAKES 5 TABLESPOONS

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons finely crushed dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Mix all spices together in a blender or food processor. Store in an airtight container.
