What Makes a Pickle Kosher?
In order for a pickle to be considered kosher, it must be made under the scrutinizing eye of a rabbi, and it cannot come in contact with any utensil or food that is not kosher. Additionally, the traditional kosher pickle has a liberal amount of garlic in the brine.
