No-Dye Red Velvet Cake

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 8

  • 1 18.25-ounce box white cake mix plus ingredients called for on box
  • 1 cup canned puréed cooked beets
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 12-ounce tub prepared cream cheese frosting
  1. Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions.

  2. Mix batter according to instructions, adding in beets and vanilla before mixing batter.

  3. Bake according to instructions. Allow to cool completely. Frost.
