Beef Pot Pie

This warm, nourishing comfort food is a true one-pot meal. Use leftover rolls, lean ground beef, and delicious veggies to make a home-baked supper.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 15-ounce jar Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  • 1 cup frozen green beans
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes, fresh or canned
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ recipe Dinner Rolls dough, unbaked
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Add Alfredo sauce, corn, beans, tomatoes, and basil. Bring to a boil. Pour mixture into baking dish.

  3. Dot beef mixture with Dinner Rolls dough. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until bread topping is golden brown.
