Green Beer Cake
What's more St. Patrick's Day than green beer? Nothing! This cake can almost certainly drive the snakes out of Ireland, but just in case it can't, raise a pint to good St. Patrick and enjoy the day!
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 12
- 1 18-ounce box yellow cake mix
- 1 3.9-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup beer
- Green food coloring
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- Frosting
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 10″ bundt pan. Set aside.
Blend cake mix and pudding mix in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Color beer as green as you like using green food coloring. Stir beer and oil into batter.
Add eggs. Beat mixture with electric mixer set to high speed. When mixture is thick and creamy, pour into pan. Bake for 55 minutes.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Invert cake onto cooling rack. Cool cake completely. Frost as desired.
