Raspberry Chocolate Bars
Raspberry jam and real chocolate chips melt into butter and milk to create a gooey, sweet bar. Added nuts are optional, but they add a rich crunch.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 12
- 1 18.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix
- ⅓ cup evaporated milk
- 1 ½ cups melted butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- ½ cup seedless raspberry jam
- 12-ounce chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9″ × 13″ pan. Set aside.
Combine cake mix, evaporated milk, butter, and nuts to form a very sticky, gooey batter.
Pour half the batter into the bottom of a pan and bake for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the jam in the microwave.
Remove baked crust from oven and cover with melted jam and chocolate chips. Cover with remaining cake batter and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting.
