Peachy Skillet Bake
Peaches are particularly delicate fruits. Overripe peaches can become grainy — definitely not a texture you want for your baked goods. Always select ripe peaches with a firm texture for the sweetness you want for this and other desserts.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 12
- 1 15-ounce can sliced peaches in syrup
- 1 18.25-ounce box white cake mix
- ½ cup butter
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pour peaches and juice into a hot oven-safe 12″ skillet.
Cover the peaches with dry cake mix and dot with pats of butter.
Cover and bake for 40 minutes.
