Gooey Praline Cupcakes
The candied sweetness of the praline has been a traditional favorite for hundreds of years. Now you can get the taste — and the crunch — with much less work.
INGREDIENTS | MAKES 24 CUPCAKES
- 1 18.25-ounce box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- Caramel ice cream topping
- Chopped pecans for garnish
- 72 pralines
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups.
Combine cake mix, buttermilk, oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl and beat using an electric mixer set to low speed until a smooth batter forms.
Fill baking cups halfway.
Bake 15 minutes or until tops are golden. Remove cupcakes from the oven and allow to cool completely before adding toppings.
Top cupcakes with caramel topping; sprinkle with pecans and garnish with 3 pralines per cupcake.
