Berry Snacky Pizza
The surprisingly lovely flavors of sweet, fruity raspberry filling and sharp Cheddar cheese are inspiring.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 6
- 1 18.25-ounce box white cake mix
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- ½ cup grated Colby or Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 21-ounce can raspberry pie filling
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a round, solid-bottomed pizza pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oats, grated cheese, and ½ cup butter.
Mix thoroughly using an electric mixer set to low speed until a crumbly mixture forms. Remove 1 cup of mixture and place in a separate, smaller bowl.
Add egg to the remaining mixture and mix well. Press into the pizza pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove baked crust from oven and layer on pie filling like pizza sauce. Top with reserved crumb mixture and additional grated cheese if desired.
Bake an additional 15 minutes. Allow pizza to cool somewhat before serving.
