Peanut Butter Cup Cake

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 24
- 1 18.25-ounce box yellow cake and ingredients called for on package instructions
- ¼ cup water
- 10 peanut butter cups, quartered
- 1 12-ounce tub cream cheese frosting
- Whole peanut butter cups for garnish
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour cake pan. Set aside.
Combine cake mix and all ingredients called for on the box as instructed, and add an extra ¼ cup of water.
Fold in the candy chunks. Turn batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove cake from heat and allow to cool 15 minutes before turning out onto serving platter.
Frost cake and garnish with whole peanut butter cups. Consider using the candies as a base for birthday candles.
