At Home

When you first arrive home with your new baby, you might feel a little nervous or awkward about breastfeeding on your own. “Test anxiety” is perfectly normal when you're doing it for the first time by yourself.

Keep this book close by for reference and feel free to contact your postpartum care nurse or lactation consultant for a final run through. The first couple of weeks take practice, but you'll have nursing down to an art by the time you go in for your postpartum checkup.
