Pull-Apart Biscuits

This is a fun and easy preparation for any biscuit recipe. If you'd like something sweeter, used cinnamon sugar instead of the garlic and herbs.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 12–15 BISCUITS

  • Dough from 1 recipe Baking Powder Biscuits
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  1. Coat an 8″ cake pan with pan spray. Place a circle of parchment in the bottom of the pan, and coat with more spray.

  2. Prepare biscuit dough as directed. Mix together melted butter, dried herbs, and garlic; set aside.

  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Turn dough onto a floured surface, and flatten to 1″ thick. Using a floured knife, cut into 1″ cubes.

  4. Roll each in melted butter mixture and place in prepared pan, overlapping slightly, until the pan is filled.

  5. Bake 15–20 minutes, until golden brown. The center of the loaf should be firm to the touch. Cool in pan 10 minutes before unmolding onto a serving platter.
