Cantaloupe-Peach Soup

Best when melons and peaches are at their prime, this refreshing soup is both light and delicate, an ideal summer dessert. Slices of angel food cake add the final finishing touch.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 2 cups cubed cantaloupe
  • 2 cups cubed peaches
  • 1½ cups guava nectar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
  • Sliced strawberries for garnish
  1. Combine the cantaloupe, peaches, guava nectar, lime juice, and sugar in a blender or food processor and purée until smooth. Chill.

  2. To serve, spoon the soup into individual bowls and garnish with strawberry slices.
