• Food for trip, including powdered formula and water, if you're

• Diapers and wipes (bring enough for two days; buy the rest at your

• A favorite toy

• “New” toy for trip

• Lovey, if he has one

• Portable crib, sheets, favorite blanket

• Portable highchair

• Tapes of music if you'll be traveling by car

• Baby-proofing gadgets (If your baby is crawling, baby-proof at least one room at your destination or it won't be much of a vacation for you. Bring a pack of outlet covers and a few cabinet locks.)

• Your medical insurance card and doctor's phone number

• First aid kit

• Sunscreen
