- 2 slices toasted 100% whole-wheat bread
- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- 1 egg
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon curry powder

Always keep a pastry brush or a small natural-bristle food-quality paintbrush handy as one of your basic kitchen tools. They are great for getting just the right amount of oil in a pan or for brushing food with a light layer of oil before cooking.
