Fudge Drops

These simple cookies taste rich and delicious. Use a different flavor of frosting for a different cookie.

INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 24 COOKIES

  • 1 (20-ounce) box brownie mix
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 (16-ounce) can cream cheese frosting
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or with Silpat silicone liners.

  2. In large bowl, combine brownie mix, butter, and eggs; beat for 50 strokes or until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

  3. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheets.

  4. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until cookies are set. Let cool on cookie sheets for 2 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool.

  5. Frost cookies with frosting; let stand until set. Store in airtight container.

Frosting Flavors

You can find almost any frosting flavor in ready-to-spread cans. All you need to do is stir the frosting a bit and use it. Or you can flavor the frosting to add your own touch. Stir in ¼ cup peanut butter, some crushed peppermint or lemon candies, or a bit of flavoring.
