Instant Tiramisu
Use any type of plain cake in this simple recipe. You can also vary the berries or the flavor of the pudding cups.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 4 (4-ounce) vanilla pudding cups
- 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 8 slices frozen pound cake, thawed
- 3 cups fresh mixed fruit salad
In medium bowl, combine pudding and ricotta cheese; mix well until smooth.
Cube the pound cake and layer with the pudding mixture and salad in a large glass bowl or in individual cups.
Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours before serving.
Fruit Salad
Prepared fruit salads, without dressing, are what you want for this recipe. They can be found in different combinations in the produce aisle of the supermarket. A good combination for this recipe would be sliced strawberries, kiwi fruit, blueberries, and grapes.
