Broccoli Slaw Wraps
Broccoli slaw is made from the hearts of broccoli, which have been peeled and julienned.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 6
- 6 slices ready-to-serve bacon
- 3 cups packaged broccoli slaw
- 1 cup golden raisins
- ⅓ cup sliced green onion
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 6 (8″) flour tortillas
Warm bacon according to package directions and crumble. Combine with slaw, raisins, and green onion in medium bowl.
In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, sugar, and lemon juice. Add to broccoli slaw mixture.
Make sandwiches using flour tortillas; roll up and cut in half. Serve immediately.
There are several different types of slaw mixes in the produce section of the supermarket. Regular slaw mix is made of shredded green cabbage, with shredded carrots and sometimes some purple cabbage. Broccoli slaw is made from tender stems, with carrots and red cabbage.
