Adults with ADHD have lower than normal activity in brain waves that are associated with attention and focus. During neurofeed-back training, you play computer games while watching the monitor. As you improve your score in the games, you move your brain waves in a desired direction. As you repeatedly alter your brain waves to achieve a desired balance, your brain learns how to create conditions that support the re-balancing. By changing your brain function, your brain learns to compensate for adult ADHD.
